It was summer. The weather in The Hills was pleasant for a change. It was a special day. Seven rainbows adorned the sky. It was early in the morning and most people were just stirring out of their beds. But not him. He was a queer guy, an outcast. What he said and what he did were beyond the comprehension of the villagers. They feared him. They exiled him. He did not mind.

But she always found him rather fascinating. As he stood on the edge of the cliff, arms open, hair flying, his face reflected the wonder of the skies.

He made an eerie noise suddenly. The birds responded to his call. They swooped in in a spiral formation and circled over his head like a live halo.

The birds were in every color you could imagine. A live incarnation of the rainbows above. Their chirping was in beat with the sound of the waterfall. The specter was supernatural. For a moment, the worries of the villagers haunted her. But how can something so beautiful be so evil, she thought. Abandoning her fears she slid out of her hiding place, in full view of the cliff.

It was as if he sensed her movement. He turned around and saw her gaping. He acknowledged her with a smile, the most charming smile.

The next heartbeat, he vanished.

Live and let die

Wednesday, March 28, 2012

I am a Gemini.
I change faster than you can say the word "change"
Do not object to me calling me fake,
I am adaptable.

My identity is not lost;
I know where my loyalties lie
But at times,
I have to be different,
Not to fit in
But to get my way

Do not denounce me for what I am with another
Be happy with what I am with you
That's is all you should care about
I do not appreciate unnecessary medling in my life

Live and let live

Or maybe, I'll live and let die.

Plan of Destiny

Sunday, March 4, 2012
I am trying to concede to the fact
Come at peace with it
Accept it
Subduing me complaints as much as possible
No matter how much it pains me
It wont happen
Because it isn't supposed to
It is not my plan to let it be
It's the plan of destiny
Maybe in a different time
In a different place
Before everything changed
But as for now
I wouldn't let fantasies cloud my sanity

We can never be friends
Just familiar strangers
Nothing else
I don't need more
I have accepted
The plan of destiny

Does The End Justify The Means?

Monday, January 16, 2012

Cool enough, with striking irony, but if you think a little, it’s one of the stupidest comparisons.

If you believe in your cause, have traced how it might end up to be, and you are happy with the result, still you hesitate to take the necessary steps, however difficult, then you are intervening with Her Highness Mother Nature itself.

Again I would refrain from quoting a personal experience and stick to popular literature instead.

Harry Potter (Obviously, it has got something on every subject)

Dumbledore made it quite clear that he had raised Harry as a pig for slaughter. As cruel as it may sound, it was necessary and the sacrifice had to be made. Imagine how it must have hurt the poor old man. Strong heart, he must have. Even the 17 year old boy who was on the verge of impending death understood this and was ready for it, he walked towards his end himself. He had been raised to be prepared for it. The means met its end
and he sustained.

That explains well how carrying out your plan at any cost will go in your favour. Plus it tells us that Dumbledore made smartass guesses.

Brisingr ( Inheritance Cycle )

To overthrow Galbatorix and establish the reign of peace among the races of Alagaesia.
Fight = inevitable

Blood and slaughter, those were the means. What then, when the ghosts of your victims haunt your night’s sleep? Can a potential threat, who had sworn fealty to your enemy, however against his will, be spared? Is taking that risk wise at the stake of your life, which by the way is the last hope of achieving your established goal? Kill the bastard.

But never lift a finger who are powerless over you. Eragon could not being himself to lift a finger against Sloan, the traitor.

If your end is justified, so is your means of achieving it. It must be remembered though, you must take a step out of line only if absolutely necessary.

Once you start doing things that are against the well defined principles, your guilt is sure to come. That guilt can drive you to insanity. In moments like those, remember what cause drove you towards your unruly task. If it still seems worth it, hold back your tears, loosen that knot in your chest and accept what you have done.

What has to be done should be done. Without any exceptions. Heartlessly, though thoughtfully.

In the name of THE GREATER GOOD.

THE DIGITAL FORTRESS

Julius Caesar’s perfect square cipher box

Caesar was the first code writer in history when his foot messengers started getting ambushed and his secret communiqués stolen, he devised a rudimentary(though still genius) way to encrypt his directives. He rearranged the text of his messages such that the correspondence looked senseless. Of course, it was not. Each message had a letter count that was a perfect square-sixteen, twenty five, hundred, depending on how much Caesar needed to say. He secretly informed his messengers that when a random message arrived, they should transcribe the text into a square grid. If they did, and read top to bottom, a secret message would magically appear.

Over time Caesar’s concept of rearranging text was adopted by others who modified it to make it more difficult to break. The pinacle of non-computer based encryption came during World War II. The Nazis built a baffling encryption machine named Enigma. The device resembled an old fashioned typewriter with brass interlocking rotors that revolved in intricate ways and shuffled cleartexts into confounding arrays of seemingly senseless character groupings. Only by having another Enigma machine calibrated the exact same way, could the recipient break the code.

A CODE FROM THE BOOK

PFEE SESN RETM PFMA IRWE OOIG MEEN NRMA
ENET SHAS DCNS IIAA IEER BRNK FBLE LODI

Blocks of four- just like the Enigma

Four by 16=64

A perfect square

Eight rows of eight

P F E E S E S N
R E T M P F H A
I R W E O O I G
M E E N N R M A
E N E T S H A S
D C N S I I A A
I E E R B R N K
F B L E L O D I

Caesar’s box. Read the message up to down. That will give a message.

“Prime difference between elements responsible for Hiroshima and Nagasaki.”

Prime= prime number
Difference= subtraction
Elements= the ones in chemistry

…the common conception that the Nagasaki bomb was a plutonium bomb. In fact, the device employed uranium, like its sister in Hiroshima.

Nagasaki bomb did not use plutonium but rather an artificially manufactured neutron-saturated isotope of uranium 238.

Atomic mass of uranium is 135

U-235, U-238 and Plutonium…

Now it wont take a genius to guess the kill code.

Prime difference of elements…

238-235=3

A prime number.

Difference in mass of the two isotopes of uranium.

Aint that totally genius?
And simple, basically pure?

There is nothing like the digital fortress, no unbreakable code.

An unbreakable code is a mathematical impossibility.

The Bergofsky’s principle holds.

Okay now guys, break this code (of my creation- very easy!)

SDEL AANN YEMR BTLB TKOA
OUAH LOSE VSKN DDMU TRDE
IKFE YTAS RDNI OSJI NAIO
GNRP OTDN NSAG HIKI DDKT
NAET ECRI PODR AESA IFLP

In Illusion...

Sunday, December 26, 2010
I did it over and over
Every night before turning in to sleep
And then again in my dreams
Yet again in my day dream
Even more in every conscious moment
Like it was the only thing that mattered
Only fact that was obvious
I had fallen in love
And my word was bound by your gravity

Still I did not dare repeat the scene
That had played only a million times like a movie
In my head
For if you don’t approve
What shall I be?
If you thought we must part ways and never look back?
I would curse myself
Before, atleast you loved me
I could have lived my life
Yes
It would have been happier
Easier
In illusion….

MY PERFECT MAN!

Monday, December 20, 2010

On suggestion of a friend I have been watching How I Met Your Mother a lot these days. One of the things it said-obviously as a joke- has got a truth into it and it’s been bugging me ever since. It deals with relationships- on which I’m kinda self-proclaimed expert.

Usually most of the relationships have – quoting the scriptwriter of HIMYM - A Reacher and a Settler. How do these relationships survive is the biggest question I need to answer before I die. Seemingly the people who appear to be too into each other are under a brief spell of mutual infatuation.

Just put yourself in place of the “The Reacher” and “The Settler” and consider. It was something like this for me-

REACHER

Oh crap! Why does he have to look so good? All those girl look at him with that greedy expression. And the look they give me! scathing! Like, what is she doing there beside him! I could hit the hell outta those bitches! Still, they have got a point don’t they? What makes him love me …….?

Major feelings- insecurity, jealousy, self doubt

SETTLER

Seriously, what am I doing with this guy! He’s so damn boring! He’s got no personality. The only reason I loved him was because I thought his innocence was kinda cute. But maybe I cant hold on to that small fact and spend the rest of my life. The way he’s possessive about me now and his jealousy if I talk with another guy just pisses me off.

Major feelings- “I’m stuck”

How can anyone live with either of that? In many seemingly into-each-other couples I met(and I’m not naming anyone of them), I can point out The Reacher and The Settler.
Sometimes all I wanna tell them is- GET A LIFE PEOPLE! Find someone worth you.

The guy I want, my Perfect Man would be not the Prince neither would I be the Princess. Because seriously that sounds lame. *pukes*

What I want is someone equal. I guy who I can proudly call My Boyfriend without feeling ashamed or inadequate. When people see us together they say jealously - gosh look at them! Why can’t we be like them too?

Oh yeah baby, BRING IT ON!
GIMME MY MAHN!:P
